Add Users and Modify Permissions

 
Find UserNames
 
If you don't know the username, open this file when logged onto the computer as the user and a messagebox will tell you the username. (save the file if you need to email to someone)
 
 
Add User
 
The DB folder should be in C:\Data\RosterCoster if you are working locally in a local test or demo environment.
 
In the DB Folder, open main.mdb
 
Open tblUsers
 
Sort By fldUsername and make sure the user you want to add isnt there already.
 
Add the username to the end of the list and close the database
 
Set User Permissions
 
In the DB Folder, open main_forms.mdb
 
Set User Permissions for Houses
 
Click Groups For Users
 
Select the user from the dropdown at the top.
 
Click on any Regions or Houses you want them to have access to. (e.g. SOU or C3185) Don't worry if you double up, eg add houses from southern as well as the southern region and or sub region, the application will filter doubles.
 
Use All or None as appropriate to save time then modify to suit
 
Click Save
 
Click Cancel/Close
 
If you are not using emsonline in your demos, close database and you are finished.
 
Set User Permissions for Applications
 
This for running via emsonline (locally or on a network) only
 
Click Apps For Users
 
Select the user from the dropdown at the top (the label may be wrong at the moment, it should say User Name)
 
Click on any applications you want them to have access to. (e.g. Safedas)
 
Click Save
 
Click Cancel/Close
