FAQ - How do I How do I force my roster to print to one page
Download quotation RosterCoster user manuals Other user manuals
Large rosters (and especially larger rosters that have 'shift lengths' switched on at the bottom of the roster) by default print to multiple pages.
This is mainly because large rosters print too small on an A4 page, and there's no way to get around that.
However, you MAY prefer to print to a single page, and then print, for example, using A3. If so, select File / Page Setup / Page' in your Microsoft Excel menu bar, and either:
-
'Adjust to', for example, 40% or even less; or
-
'Fit to' 1 page wide x 1 page tall
HANDY TIPS: You may not need to do any of the above, if you 'squash the roster up' by:
-
Making sure the shift length calculations are not displayed at the bottom of the roster.
-
Putting all shifts, for as many staff as possible, in the top two cells of each shift box and leave the next two cells blank.
-
Pressing the 'One blank row' button.
Try that, and see if it automatically prints to one page.
